Scharnhorst Ast & Kennard, P.C. is a boutique civil litigation firm founded in 2006. We are located in the heart of downtown Kansas City, Missouri. We then work with each client to develop and implement a strategy to accomplish the client’s objectives. We are accessible and responsive: We are easy to reach by telephone, e-mail, or in person. If you send us an e-mail or leave a message on our voice mail, we will respond promptly and usually no later than the following business day.We will provide an early and candid assessment: One of the keys to a successful outcome (and ultimately a satisfied client) is an early, candid, and objective assessment of the strengths, risks, and anticipated costs of litigation. This approach allows us to identify potential problems and develop a strategy for achieving the client’s objectives at an early stage of the litigation. It also avoids surprise. We are measured by results: We strive to achieve each client’s objectives as quickly, efficiently, and cost-effectively as possible. Although our firm has the resources to handle almost any litigation matter, not all matters require a team of litigation professionals. Indeed, we focus on quality rather than quantity by staffing cases with only those professionals necessary to achieve the client’s objectives.
